Board threads, comments, and replies on News or Blog posts are public. Anyone can read them, along with your display name.

To run and secure the service, our servers record:
- Request details such as IP address, browser, and device
- Errors, including which AI model a failed request used
- Credit charges, refunds, and payment confirmations
We do not add third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

Service Providers We Work With:
- 🔥 Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, and cloud storage
- 💳 Stripe: Payment processing for credit purchases
- 🤖 AI Model Providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and xAI. They receive your messages, lesson answers, and any camera snapshots you enable.
- 🔊 ElevenLabs: Text-to-speech; receives the text of replies you choose to hear aloud
- 🎬 YouTube and Vimeo: Embedded video players on thinker profiles, lectures, and the About page; these players may set their own cookies
- ▲ Vercel: Hosting and request processing

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
4. AI Conversation Privacy
🤖 How AI Conversations Are Handled
Model Providers: Your messages are sent to the AI model you choose to generate replies, under that provider's API terms. We do not sell your conversations or use them to train AI models.
Secure Storage: Conversation history is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, which encrypts data at rest. Access rules let only your account read it; our servers read it only to run the features you use.
Your Control: You can view your conversations and delete them from your conversation list at any time. To get a copy of your data, email us.
5. Your Privacy Rights

Request a copy of your conversation history, account data, and learning progress by emailing us.
🗑️ Deletion Rights
Delete your account at any time from Account settings. This permanently removes your profile, credits, conversations, lessons, recordings, and API keys. Your public Board and Blog posts and comments remain but show as "Deleted user" without your name or photo. Payment records are kept without your account details for accounting and fraud prevention.
✏️ Correction
Update or correct your personal information through your account settings.
🛑 Opt-Out
Opt out of non-essential communications and data processing where legally permitted.

- • Recordings: Stored until you delete them or delete your account
- • Payment records: Kept after account deletion with your account identifier removed
- • Server logs: Kept for a limited period by our hosting provider
- • Legal compliance: Minimal data retained as required by law
7. Cookies & Tracking

Required for authentication, security, and basic platform functionality. These cannot be disabled without affecting service operation.

Your browser also keeps preferences, drafts, and unsaved recordings on your device. We do not add analytics or advertising cookies ourselves; embedded YouTube and Vimeo players may set their own.
8. Children's Privacy

BotMuseum.ai is designed for users 13 years and older. Users under 18 should have parental consent before using our educational services.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
